THE VOTE - STATISTICS
Leave
17,410,742 VOTES (51.9%) (37.44% of electorate)
16,141,241 VOTES
Electorate = 46,500,001 (is that number suspiciously strange ?!?)
Leave voters = 17,410,742 (37.44%)
Remain = 16,141,241 (34.7%)
Did not vote = 27.8 %
% of electorate voting Leave = 37.44 %
Of course remember EU citizens here did not get the vote even though they live here. UK expats abroad for over 15 years (even though they may have gone for work and plan to return) did not get the vote. And many EXPats I have spoken to Did not get their ballot papers on time. Some had postmarks for the day of the vote !! Suspicious or incompetence ?
