@DefraGovUK has banned pulse fishing in UK waters from 11:00 pm yesterday. A good example of the environmental, conservation and welfare improvements we can make after leaving the EU. Now let’s stop live animal exports.

- You do know that it has been banned in the EU for many years but with exceptions and that in 2019 EU removed exceptions, to be implemented soon.
- Because now we are out of the EU the EU ban on pulse fishing doesn't apply any more.

- We didn’t need to leave the EU to ban pulse fishing. The EU voted to ban it completely in 2019 and ahead of that the French have already banned it in their waters.
